AI descriptions can now sync with inventory updates

AI-generated vehicle descriptions now have a Dynamic mode that automatically keeps copy current as vehicle data changes. A handful of improvements also shipped this week, including faster-loading hero videos and the option to disable the footer Confirm Availability form on mobile VDPs, plus several fixes.

AI descriptions can now stay in sync with your feed

AI-generated vehicle descriptions now have two update modes. Locked keeps the description exactly as written after the first generation, which stays the default so nothing changes unless you opt-in. Dynamic automatically rewrites the description whenever the vehicle fields driving that prompt change on the next inventory sync, keeping copy accurate as inventory data evolves. Either way, any description a person has manually edited stays untouched, so hand-written copy is never overwritten.

Set it per prompt under Admin > Intelligence > Descriptions.

Improvements

• Hero videos uploaded in the page builder are now automatically converted to a smaller, standardized format, so sites with video backgrounds load faster without any action from dealers.
• IndexNow is now on by default for every new dealer, so inventory and content changes are pushed to Bing (which powers Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT's web search) from day one with no setup required.
• Group and multi-location sites can now show the selected home store's phone number, address, and directions link in the info bar. Off by default — turn it on under Admin > Dealership > Address in your Home Store settings as "Use Home Store as primary location.
• Dealers can now export inventory and pricing to Velocity on a daily automated feed. Go to Admin > Dealership > Exports and enable Export to Velocity to turn it on.
• The footer Confirm Availability form on mobile VDPs can now be disabled, leaving the main form in the pricing and CTA area in place. Find the setting under Admin > Complications > Vehicle Detail Page > Mobile VDP. On group sites, it can be set per rooftop.

Fixes

• Location, service, and finance pages on group sites returned a 404 for any store whose name included a comma or special character. Those pages now resolve correctly for every store name.
• Editing a page through the AI chat and navigating away before accepting or declining a suggestion could make the page appear blank in the admin editor. The page now loads correctly in all cases.
• The year filter on inventory and collection pages was ordering options by vehicle count rather than year. Years now list from newest to oldest.
• When a dealer had both a percent-off and a cash incentive marked exclusive on the same vehicle, only one applied on the VDP. Both now apply correctly.
